How Does an AODD Pump Work?

An AODD pump works by using compressed air to move two flexible diaphragms back and forth, creating suction and discharge action to transfer fluids safely and efficiently.

1. Compressed Air Enters the Pump
   Air is supplied to the pump through an air inlet and directed by an internal air valve.
2. Diaphragm Movement Begins
   The air pushes one diaphragm outward while simultaneously pulling the opposite diaphragm inward. This alternating motion drives the pumping action.
3. Fluid Suction
   As one diaphragm moves back, it creates a vacuum inside the chamber. This vacuum opens the inlet check valve and draws fluid into the pump.
4. Fluid Discharge
   When the diaphragm moves forward, it pushes the fluid out through the outlet check valve toward the discharge line.
5. Continuous Alternating Cycle
   The air valve automatically switches airflow between diaphragms, allowing continuous, smooth pumping without the need for electricity.
