Fluid Enters at the Inlet

As the lobes rotate outward and away from each other at the inlet, expanding cavities create a low-pressure zone. Fluid is drawn in smoothly from the suction port without turbulence or agitation.

Each lobe pocket traps a precise volume of fluid between the rotor and the casing wall. This trapped volume is then carried around the outer circumference from the inlet toward the outlet — gently and without shear.

At the outlet, the lobes rotate back toward each other, reducing the volume of the fluid pocket and forcing the fluid out through the discharge port at controlled, consistent pressure.
